Junior Product Test Engineer

Our client is an established engineering company developing advanced hardware and software-based products. The project focuses on manual product verification and testing to ensure compliance with defined requirements, quality standards and customer expectations

Project Overview

• Number of positions: 1
• Develop, execute and document manual HIL test sequences
• Perform requirements-based product testing, verification and validation
• Evaluate and report test results and identified product issues
• Conduct root-cause analysis and troubleshoot hardware and software-related issues
• Perform structured data analysis to support technical investigations
• Collaborate with Product Engineering, Software Development, Hardware Development and Verification teams
• Ensure testing activities comply with product requirements and quality standards

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Physics, Applied Sciences or a related technical discipline
• Alternatively, technical vocational education with several years of relevant testing or verification experience
• 1–2 years of experience in product testing, verification, validation or quality engineering
• Hands‑on experience developing, executing and documenting manual HIL test sequences
• Experience in troubleshooting, root‑cause analysis and structured data analysis
• Experience working in cross‑functional engineering teams
• Knowledge of Python, Jira, Confluence and Microsoft Office
• Experience working with Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems
• Very good German and English communication skills
• ISTQB Foundation Level certification is an advantage
