• People Leadership:
  Lead and develop a team of highly skilled development engineers with strong technical expertise and professional autonomy, fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous growth.
• Technical Leadership:
  Act as a technical sparring partner for the team, providing guidance and decision support in the development of advanced electrical machines, particularly high-speed motor solutions.
• Product Development Responsibility:
  Take overall responsibility for the technical development and industrialization of Everllence’s large-scale heat pump portfolio. Drive product modularization, platform and industrialization strategies, supply chain readiness, and the development of engineering methods, design tools, and standards to ensure competitive, scalable, and cost-efficient solutions for industrial heat production.
• Strategic Planning & Execution:
  Define, maintain and drive the execution of the R&D roadmap for large-scale heat pump solutions in district heating applications, ensuring alignment of technology development, product portfolio evolution, market requirements, product management priorities, and overall business strategy. Translate strategic objectives into actionable development programs, balancing innovation, competitiveness, technical maturity, and time-to-market.
• Cross-Organizational
  
  Collaboration:
  
  Drive cross-site and cross-product development projects, ensuring effective interfaces to product management, manufacturing, procurement, and other business units.
• Management & Stakeholder Alignment:
  Plan, budget, and steer development projects and initiatives across the large-scale heat pump portfolio. Lead the R&D roadmap and orchestrate interfaces across departments and external partners, proactively managing priorities, resources, dependencies, risks, and decision-making to ensure successful project delivery and business impact.
• Academic Partnerships and Representation:
  Establish and maintain relationships with universities and research institutions and represent the company in relevant conferences.

• Education:
  
  Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent technical education, preferably in plant engineering, system engineering, or mechanical engineering. Additional experience in electrical or control systems engineering is beneficial.
• Professional
  
  Experience:
  
  At least 10 years of relevant experience in development organizations, preferably in heat pumps and plant engineering.
• Leadership Capability:
  Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop highly skilled experts, balancing responsibility and alignment in a team of strong professionals.
• Technical Leadership:
  In‑depth knowledge in the development, modularization, and standardization of large industrial heat pumps and strong background in the layout and process calculation of industrial heat pumps working with various refrigerants.
• Industry Background:
  Relevant network in the heat pump industry.
• Strategic and Organizational
  
  Skills:
  
  Strong capability to structure complex topics, set priorities, and translate strategy into executable development roadmaps.
• External
  
  Collaboration:
  
  Experience working with academic institutions, research partners, suppliers, or industry networks is a strong advantage.
