Join ALTEN Switzerland as Senior Mechanical Design Engineer and support our cutting-edge aircraft programs with a focus on innovation and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop cabin structures and cockpit structures;
- Create cockpit system installations for ATA 21, ATA 23, ATA 24, ATA 27, ATA 34, and ATA 53;
- Ensure designs meet Part 23 regulatory standards and Design for Manufacturing (DfM) principles;
- Generate detailed 2D/3D models, production drawings and BOMs in Siemens NX;
- Collaborate with engineering, certification, and production teams to validate designs and support testing.
- Degree in Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent);
- 7+ years of experience in cabin/cockpit structure design and system installations (Part 23 preferred);
- Siemens NX (or equivalent) for 3D modeling and drafting;
- Knowledge of ATA 21, 23, 24, 27, 34, 53;
- Professional proficiency in English. German is a plus.
