Are you a GNSS/Sensor Fusion Research expert ready to drive impactful projects on a global scale?
Location:
Zurich
Length of contract - 6 months with the option to extend, start asap
Hybrid - minimum 3 days in office
Language skills – English
- Develop novel methods for various global positioning problems, including PPP, DGNSS, RTK, multi-sensor fusion including inertial sensors, cameras, lidar.
- Work with large datasets and different hardware. You will contribute to designing effective and robust sensor systems that are deployed to collect data at global scale.
- You need to have a strong curiosity about tackling and solving real-world problems. You will work with a team of fast paced and pragmatic problem solvers that are tackling the toughest problems in the field by developing new innovative technology.
- Strong background in Precise GNSS and multi-sensor fusion.
- Experience with sensor fusion algorithms, kalman filters, least squares estimation.
- Experience with advanced aiding techniques: PPP, DGNSS
- Experience with GNSS observation equations based on pseudrange and carrier phase, cycle slip detection, integer ambigutiy resolution, etc.
- Capable of working with new hardware
- Solid programming skills (C/C++/Python)
- Masters degree with 2+ years of experience
- Published papers in ION GNSS, IEEE ICRA, IEEE IROS
- Ionosphere estimation, antenna models (carrierphase), cycle slip detection, ...
- PhD degree with 5+ years of industry experience
- M.Sc. Geomatics/M.Sc. Robotics, Systems and Control/M.Sc. Computer Science, M.Sc. ESPACE Earth Oriented Space Science and Technology, M.Sc. in Climate Sciences / Physics
