Global Product Engineer Division Automotive & Industrial

Tasks

• Gain expertise in existing spring design and calculation models (Excel/VBA), including knowledge transfer from two highly experienced Senior Engineers
• Handle customer enquiries relating to specific spring types in collaboration with Project Management and Sales
• Analyse and calculate spring designs, taking into account mechanical, electric, thermal and dynamic loading conditions
• Support the development and enhancement of calculation tools (e.g. Python-based applications)
• Carry out technical evaluations and contribute to the documentation and standardisation of design processes
• Develop in-depth application and process knowledge to become a trusted technical adviser for customers
• Participate in customer meetings and work closely with customers' design and development engineers
• Support the APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) process
