Compliance Surveillance Officer

We are seeking a Compliance Surveillance Officer for a major management consultancy. This role is a 3‑to‑6 month contract based in Zurich, requiring onsite presence five days a week.

• Case investigation of alerts triggered by surveillance monitoring related to cross‑border and investment suitability.
• Determine whether the case can be closed with or without findings by reviewing data from multiple systems based on the alert type and provided policies and procedures.
• Document the case for audit trail.

• Proven knowledge of cross‑border and suitability regulations such as MiFID, FINRA, Reg BI.
• Experience in alert handling, investigation, and documentation within a compliance function, preferably in banking industry.
• Proficiency in using Actimize or equivalent compliance monitoring tools.
• Language proficiency in German, French, and/or Italian is mandatory.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Contract length: 3 to 6 months
