We are seeking a Compliance Surveillance Officer for a major management consultancy client. This will be a 3‑6 month contract based in Zurich.
Key Requirements- Proven knowledge of cross‑border and suitability regulations such as MiFID, FINRA, Reg BI.
- Experience in alert handling, investigation, and documentation within a compliance function, preferably in banking.
- Proficiency in using Actimize or equivalent compliance monitoring tools.
- Language proficiency in German, French, and/or Italian is mandatory.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Case investigation of surveillance alerts related to cross‑border and investment suitability.
- Determine whether a case can be closed with or without findings by reviewing data from multiple systems based on alert type and policies.
- Document cases for audit trail.
