You will be involved in all facets of Client Onboarding, Client Data Maintenance and KYC Rolling Review, and you will continue to gain invaluable new experiences working closely with Private Wealth Management Sales, Legal, Compliance, Technology, Finance & Global Operations in a fast‑paced and stimulating role.

In addition, Operations provides essential risk management and control to preserve and enhance the firm’s assets and reputation. For every account opened, trade agreed, new product launched or market entered, and every transaction completed, it is Operations that develops the processes and controls that make business flow.
PWM Operations in Zurich directly supports all the PWM clients of GSBZ Bank AG (Switzerland), working closely with local PWM Business teams based in Zurich and Geneva as well as other PWM teams globally. As part of PWM Operations in Zurich, you will gain the opportunity to be part of a tight‑knit, high‑performing team in Switzerland and play a key role in contributing to PWM Operations globally.
HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL
- Become a subject matter expert in the full KYC lifecycle of PWM clients ranging from Client Onboarding, Maintenance and Rolling Review processes.
- Stay abreast of regulatory/FCC policy updates and lead the implementation of the process and procedural changes across KYC teams, both within Switzerland and across Goldman Sachs globally.
- Use excellent communication skills to build and develop strong, productive relationships with PWM Business, Legal, Compliance, Technology and the Operations Division globally.
- Seize the opportunity to gain valuable visibility with senior leadership across wealth management and operations by presenting findings on a periodic basis.
- Leverage your risk‑and‑control mindset by critically reviewing operational processes to mitigate risk and identify opportunities to further strengthen the control environment.
- Think outside the box – we want to hear your ideas and see a positive contribution to enhancing the current suite of processes performed by both the Zurich team and PWM Operations globally.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Bachelor’s degree, with prior experience in financial services, preferably within an Account Opening, Client Data Change Management, Client Identification / Rolling Review position or KYC Quality Assurance role.
- Proven analytical skills, problem‑solving ability, and a control mentality paired with meticulous attention to detail.
- Aptitude for building relationships and experience in communicating complex issues to a wide array of internal partners at differing levels of product or process experience.
- Self‑motivated and proactive team player who takes ownership and has experience acting as a change agent to improve processes and has been accountable for projects.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to effectively manage competing priorities.
- Thrives in a team environment and copes well under pressure when needed.
- Excellent English language written and verbal skills essential. (German fluency advantageous)
