Private Credit - Associate

Strategy: Private Credit with exposure to Private Equity investments

A leading Zurich-based Private Equity investment firm is looking to hire a highly motivated Private Credit Associate to support the expansion of its private credit platform. The role offers direct exposure to both structured credit transactions and private equity deals across the DACH region.

This is an opportunity to join a dynamic and entrepreneurial investment team with a strong track record in mid-market transactions.

• Evaluate and execute private credit investments, including senior, unitranche, and subordinated debt structures
• Conduct detailed financial modelling, downside case analysis and credit risk assessment
• Support structuring and negotiation of financing terms and documentation
• Participate in due diligence processes alongside private equity deal teams
• Prepare investment memoranda and present analyses to the Investment Committee
• Monitor portfolio companies, including covenant tracking and performance analysis
• Work closely with management teams, sponsors, advisors and lenders

• 4–6 years of experience in leveraged finance, private debt, restructuring, investment banking, or private equity
• Strong financial modelling skills, particularly in LBO and downside case modelling
• Solid understanding of capital structures and credit documentation
• Exposure to sponsor-backed transactions is highly desirable
• Entrepreneurial mindset and strong analytical capabilities
• Native German speaker (mandatory) with excellent English skills
• Strong academic background from a leading university
