We also promote our ESG approach and push positive impact finance solutions.

The Financial Institutions Group (FIG) was created to better serve a key clientele (banks, insurance companies asset managers, etc...) with specific needs by gathering relevant intelligence and using our technical expertise.

Missions:

You will be part of a client-driven coverage organisation to work closely with Bankers in the Financial Institutions department as well as with all the salespeople involved in our business relationships with Swiss Financial Institutions.

Your missions can be summarised as follows:

The new joiner will work in a stimulating environment. The coverage team acts as a liaising function between Societe Generale business lines (Global Markets, Commercial Banking, Investment Banking) and Support Teams (Risk, Compliance, KYC).

You will be asked to:

  • Perform economic analyses on our clients as well as on prospects
  • Conduct industry research
  • Prepare notes and marketing material to use in client meetings, covering topics such as: financing solutions, capital markets activity, treasury services, global markets products

  • Monitor market trends and track client performance
  • Understand the impact of new regulation, market evolution on Financial Institutions clients and SG offer (Basel III, Solvency II, EMIR and MIFID)

A questionnaire will be provided to you in order to check your VIE (Société Générale and Business France) eligibility. For an efficient analysis of your application, please make sure to truthfully answer all the questions.

Please note that it is mandatory to provide us a formal proof of your M2 diploma validation before the assignment start date. No VIE mission will start without this document.
