ODM Partners have been retained exclusively to appoint a Director for an International Infrastructure Investor. The organisation is a long-established infrastructure equity platform with a strong focus on control and co-control investments.
The value-add strategy targets small and mid-cap infrastructure businesses with clear levers for growth, including buy-and-build strategies and hands-on operational improvement. The Director will play a key role in supporting the continued build-out of the value-add strategy, working closely with senior leadership and taking significant ownership across origination, execution, and portfolio oversight. The role sits within an international and collegiate, high energy team, operating in a flat structure and offering long-term development within a well-capitalised platform.
Keyresponsibilities
- Play an active role in sourcing value-add infrastructure investment opportunities, contributing to thematic and sector development.
- Lead transaction execution across the full investment lifecycle, from initial screening through to completion.
- Take responsibility for the preparation of investment materials, including equity stories and Investment Committee memoranda.
- Support active asset management of portfolio companies, including engagement with management teams and board-level involvement where appropriate.
- Conduct independent sector research and support proactive origination efforts.
- Contribute to the evolution of the value-add strategy and broader platform growth ambitions.
- Right to work in Switzerland/EU Citizen
- Senior infrastructure investment professional with a minimum of 9 years’ relevant experience.
- Demonstrated track record across Core+ / Value-Add infrastructure investments, including buy-and-build strategies and active value creation.
- Proven experience acting as lead investor on small to mid-cap infrastructure platforms.
- Hands-on capability across origination, transaction execution, and portfolio governance.
- Excellent financial and analytical skills, with strong commercial judgement.
- Broad infrastructure exposure across multiple sectors; digital infrastructure experience is strongly desirable.
- Exposure to European markets preferred; OECD investment experience essential.
- Commercial and autonomous with strong stakeholder management capability.
