Our client is the Asset Management division of an international bank based in Zurich. We are looking for a German‑speaking Senior Controller (m/f/d) responsible for the day‑to‑day financial operations of private‑market funds.

• Managing all aspects of daily financial operations of private‑market funds including controlling investment activities, cash management, NAV closings, and internal reporting to senior management.
• Preparing external reporting to investors and regulators, including capital calls and distributions with revenue calculations.
• Supporting fund commitments and quarterly reporting on remaining commitments.
• Monitoring quarterly calculations of management fees and allocation of transaction fees.
• Reviewing transactions in Investran (cash, new investments, sales, capital calls, distributions, etc.).
• Reviewing monthly and quarterly account analyses and reconciliations.
• Assisting Accounting in the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Supporting external audit and serving as point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
• Participating in initiatives to simplify processes and increase efficiency in Accounting/Controlling, Reporting, and Financial Processes.
• Managing ad‑hoc projects as needed.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Banking & Finance or Accounting (or equivalent).
• CPA certification or comparable professional credentials.
• Sound experience in private‑market funds or fund accounting.
• Professional experience with a fund manager or in asset management at a bank or Big‑Four company with a focus on fund audit.
• Analytical, detail‑oriented personality with entrepreneurial thinking.
• Team player with strong networking skills across groups.
• Self‑starter, highly organized and proactive in executing responsibilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and complete tasks on time.
• Structured, fast, and precise way of working.
• Quick comprehension and networked thinking.
• Client‑oriented working style with strong organizational, communication, and social skills.
• IT proficiency (e.g., Investran) and good MS Office skills.
• Fluency in German (C2) and English.
