Junior Trader

What you'll be doing
You'll trade and manage options positions across global markets, using quantitative models and data to find opportunities and keep risk under control. You'll sit alongside quants, developers and experienced traders, and you'll help sharpen the strategies and tools the desk relies on.

A well-capitalised, international proprietary trading firm active in derivatives and delta-one markets across asset classes. It's a small-team culture with real ownership and a fast pace, backed by serious technology and quantitative research.

Day to day

• Build and refine options trading strategies
• Analyse market data and apply quantitative models to spot trades
• Monitor exposures and stay within risk limits
• Work with quants and data scientists to improve models and algorithms
• Follow the news, macro events and anything moving volatility
• Execute trades and manage positions with good liquidity and execution
• Help improve the firm's trading systems

About you

• Degree in Finance, Maths, Economics or similar (a postgraduate degree is a plus)
• 3-5 years in options trading, with a solid grasp of pricing, volatility and risk
• A quantitative mindset, comfortable using data to back decisions
• Quick, analytical and calm making decisions under pressure
• Strong communicator, proactive and self-driven
• Python, C++ or similar is a bonus
