Executive Search Consultant, Private Banker

DES Capital is a Swiss executive search firm dedicated to one profession: private banking. For fifteen years our founder has placed senior private bankers with independent wealth managers and private banks in Geneva and Zurich. Today we work with houses managing between CHF 5 and 25 billion, several of them growing right now.

Our team finds and shortlists the bankers. What we need now is a seasoned professional from our world to sit across the table from them: someone who has run a book, or placed the people who do, and who can tell in one conversation whether a banker’s clients, assets and ambitions are real.

That is this role. You would be the person whose judgement our clients rely on before we introduce a banker to them.

• Interview shortlisted private bankers and team heads by video call, several a day
• Understand each book in depth: size, booking centre, client mix, and how much of it can realistically follow
• Give a clear, honest assessment that tells us whether, and to whom, we present the banker
• Work alongside the founding team as we grow our placements in Switzerland and abroad

• 10 years or more in private banking, as a Relationship Manager, Team Head or Market Head, or as an executive search consultant placing private bankers
• Someone senior bankers speak to openly, as a peer
• Between roles, recently retired, independent, or ready to move to the search side
• Fluent English. French or German is a real plus

• 100% variable and uncapped, paid per banker placed: realistic monthly earnings of CHF 15,000 to 20,000 once volume runs
