Freelance Microbiological Technician – Pharmaceutical QC Laboratory (Switzerland)

We are seeking an experienced Microbiological Technician to support quality control microbiology activities for pharmaceutical clients in Switzerland.

This role focuses on hands‑on microbiological testing in a GMP environment, supporting increased laboratory workload and ensuring compliant release of materials and products.

Location: Switzerland (on‑site, exact site to be confirmed)

Type: Freelance / Contract

• Perform routine and non‑routine microbiological testing in a GMP QC laboratory
• Conduct testing such as bioburden, endotoxin, sterility, and environmental monitoring
• Handle and work with defined microorganisms and bacterial strains
• Support method validation, verification, and transfer activities
• Document results in compliance with GDP and GMP requirements
• Support investigations, deviations, and laboratory workload peaks

• 3–4+ years of hands‑on experience in a pharmaceutical or biotech microbiology laboratory
• Practical experience with GMP microbiological methods
• Experience working with bacteria and microorganisms in regulated environments
• Comfortable working fully on‑site in a QC laboratory
• Able to work independently and follow strict GMP procedures
• English required;
  German is a strong advantage
