We are seeking a highly driven and entrepreneurial Therapy Development Manager to lead the launch, development, and scaling of an innovative Class III implantable therapy across Switzerland. This is a highly visible role with national responsibility, combining sales execution, therapy development, clinical education, and market access activity to establish the therapy as a standard of care.
This position is ideally suited to a commercially strong Med Tech professional with experience in implantable or high-tech medical devices who is comfortable operating autonomously in a market-building role.
Position OverviewIn this role, you will be responsible for the overall commercial success of the therapy across Switzerland. Acting as the local market lead, you will drive sales performance while building therapy awareness, supporting physician training, and working closely with hospitals and stakeholders to enable access and adoption.
You will serve as the primary point of contact for the Swiss market, collaborating closely with European and cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution and long-term growth.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute the Switzerland commercial strategy aligned with regional objectives.
- Drive sales performance through territory planning, account targeting, funnel development, forecasting, and closing activity.
- Identify, prioritize, and develop key hospital accounts, sleep centres, and physician stakeholders across Switzerland.
- Build long‑term customer relationships to ensure sustainable therapy adoption and growth.
- Lead therapy awareness initiatives to expand understanding and adoption among physicians, hospital administrators, and payers.
- Develop and implement market development plans tailored to the Spanish and Portuguese healthcare systems.
- Act as a therapy expert, clearly communicating clinical value and differentiation.
- Deliver clinical education, therapy demonstrations, and case support to physicians and clinical teams.
- Support physician training programs, workshops, and peer‑to‑peer education initiatives.
- Work closely with two Clinical Specialists to ensure high‑quality therapy delivery and patient outcomes.
- Support reimbursement and market access initiatives across Switzerland in collaboration with internal teams.
- Engage with hospital management and regional authorities to support funding, procurement, and adoption processes.
- Contribute to health economic and value‑based discussions with relevant stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders, hospital decision‑makers, and professional societies.
- Represent the organisation at national and regional congresses, meetings, and events.
- Develop and manage business plans, budgets, and performance metrics.
- Accurately forecast sales and pipeline activity.
- Ensure compliance with all quality, regulatory, and company standards.
- Proven commercial experience within Med Tech, ideally in implantable devices, neurostimulation, ENT, cardiology, or adjacent therapy areas.
- Experience in market development, therapy launch, or high‑growth environments.
- Strong understanding of the Switzerland healthcare systems and hospital decision‑making processes.
- Ability to balance sales execution with clinical education and therapy development.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Fluent French and German with strong English proficiency.
