The Role

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior HR Business Partner to act as a trusted advisor to business leaders and employees, driving people initiatives that support organizational growth, operational excellence, and business performance. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping HR strategy, leading transformation projects, and fostering a high-performance culture within an international environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a strategic HR partner to business unit leaders, providing expert guidance on all aspects of human resources management.
  • Advise and support management, employees, and employee representatives on HR-related matters, ensuring compliance with labor regulations and company policies.
  • Partner with leadership teams during organizational changes, restructuring initiatives, and workforce planning activities to strengthen a project-driven and financially sustainable organization.
  • Support the review, development, and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure alignment with business objectives and legal requirements.
  • Lead and coordinate the implementation of new HR systems and digital HR initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and employee experience.
  • Analyze market trends in compensation and benefits, benchmark against industry standards, and provide recommendations to maintain a competitive and equitable reward strategy.
  • Oversee and support recruitment and talent acquisition activities, ensuring the timely attraction and selection of high-quality candidates in line with business needs.
  • Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with universities, technical schools, and other talent pipelines to strengthen employer branding and long-term workforce development.
  • Collaborate with management to identify training and development needs, succession planning opportunities, and performance management initiatives that enhance organizational capability.
  • Ensure the effective execution of HR operations and administrative processes throughout the employee lifecycle.
  • Work closely with Corporate and Regional HR teams to provide accurate HR reporting, workforce analytics, and key performance indicators (KPIs), enabling data-driven decision-making.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, fostering a culture of trust, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Profile and Qualifications
  • University degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Law, or a related field, with a specialization in Human Resources preferred.
  • Minimum of 6-7 years of progressive HR experience as an HR Business Partner, Senior HR Generalist, or similar role within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience in the construction, infrastructure, engineering, industrial, or project-based sectors is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of core HR disciplines, including employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, talent acquisition, organizational development, and payroll processes.
  • Proven experience supporting organizational transformation, change management, and business restructuring initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and coach managers at different organizational levels.
  • Experience working in an international and multicultural environment, ideally within a subsidiary or matrix organization.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with experience leveraging HR data and metrics to support business decisions.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with operational execution in a hands‑on environment.
  • Swiss‑German Mandatory, fluency in English is required; additional languages are considered an asset.
