DevSecOps Engineer Microsoft Environment

Our client is the IT department of an international bank in Zurich. We are looking for a Dev Sec Ops  specialist (m, f, d) as

• Monitoring or integrating security measures into a growing IT environment, including the entire software development and operation cycle (Dev Ops process)
• Key tasks include optimizing developments, processes and tools, automating security tests, implementing secure CI/CD pipelines by optimizing shell scripts, performing vulnerability analyses, and managing infrastructure security
• Supporting developers throughout the development cycle
• Ensuring the configuration and management of secure systems, including containers (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud environments
• Monitoring systems for security incidents and regularly performing vulnerability analyses and penetration tests, including root‑cause analysis
• Ensuring compliance and data protection (ISO 27001, GDPR) throughout the entire workflow
• Ensuring best practices and company standards, including the creation of documentation
• Ad hoc projects

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or Engineering
• Dev Sec Ops  Engineer (ECDE) as an advantage
• Work experience as a Dev Sec Ops  engineer in banking, consulting on banking projects, or at an international Microsoft partner
• Ability to analyze IT environments from a top‑down perspective
• Experience with end‑to‑end hybrid cloud and AI‑driven solutions
• Understanding of cloud security concepts, vulnerability management, and secure configuration in cloud environments
• Technical proficiency with Kubernetes, including deep understanding of control‑plane components, networking (CNI), storage (CSI), service mesh concepts, and operators
• Experience with at least one CI/CD tool (Azure Dev Ops)
• Experience with e.g. Logs, ETL, API Management, noSQL databases
• Experience as a developer with Microsoft .NET and experience with e.g. Elasticsearch, Mongo
  
  DB, Redis or Kafka
• Experience with tools for version control (Git), automation (Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible), and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Professional experience as a developer with Microsoft .NET desirable
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Java
• Ability to collaborate with development and operations teams and promote security awareness
• Hands‑on mentality
• German and English
