- Design develop and execute test plans and test cases for embedded IoT systems
- Collaborate with engineering teams to define quality standards and acceptance criteria
- Analyse system requirements and technical specifications to ensure comprehensive test coverage
- Perform functional regression integration and system testing on embedded platforms
- Debug and troubleshoot hardware / software integration issues reporting defects with detailed documentation
- Set up and maintain test environments including hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) and simulation setups
- Drive continuous improvement of QA processes tools and methodologies for embedded / IoT products
- Mentor and guide junior QA engineers sharing best practices and technical expertise
- Participate in code reviews risk assessments and release planning to ensure product quality
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Electrical Engineering or related field
- Prior experience in QA / testing for embedded systems or IoT devices
- Strong knowledge of embedded systems microcontrollers and IoT architectures
- Proficiency in test automation for embedded platforms (e.g. Pytest)
- Experience with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) simulation and real device testing
- Familiarity with communication protocols (e.g. UART SPI I2C BLE LoRa MQTT)
- Solid understanding of software development and QA methodologies (Agile CI / CD)
- Experience with test management tools defect tracking and version control (e.g. Jira Git)
- Strong analytical debugging and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
