Test Manager TCP​/IP Hands on ; BelOS

For an innovative, technology-driven organization operating in a highly advanced embedded software and R&D environment, we are looking for an experienced Test Manager with strong hands-on TCP/IP testing expertise.

This role combines technical credibility in embedded software testing with ownership of test management and quality assurance activities. After onboarding, the focus will shift toward test management and coordination, while maintaining hands-on involvement in key technical topics.

The working environment is collaborative, engineering-driven, and closely aligned with development and verification teams.

• Own and drive test strategy, planning, coordination, and quality assurance for an embedded software project
• Define, execute, and continuously improve integration and verification processes
• Ensure timelines, transparency, and quality across all test activities
• Work closely with development, verification, and project stakeholders
• Perform hands-on TCP/IP testing during onboarding and in critical phases
• Analyze test results, interpret monitoring and visualization data, and assess risks
• Support issue analysis related to network stability, packet loss, and communication behavior
• Use Jira actively to manage test activities, issues, and progress reporting

The assignment is planned from 16 February 2026 until 31 August 2026 with a 100 percent workload. On site presence of three days per week. An extension of six months is possible.

• Embedded software testing running on hardware (not pure hardware or electronics testing)
• Network communication and Gigabit Ethernet
• API testing (REST; Redfish experience is a plus but not required)
• Understanding of TCP/IP layers and behavior (expert-level packet analysis is not required)

Your profile

• Several years of experience in test management, system testing, or verification in embedded or networked environments
• Proven hands-on experience with TCP/IP testing
• Comfortable transitioning into a role with 70–80% test management and 20–30% hands-on testing
• Strong coordination and communication skills
• Pragmatic, structured, and quality-oriented working style

Tools & methods

• Jira (must-have)
• Familiarity with test management and documentation tools (e.g. Confluence, Zephyr)
• Experience working in agile or iterative environments

Languages

• German: strong plus, but not a deal breaker
