Manager Solution Engineering – Manufacturing
**** Role Summary
** We are seeking an inspirational and strategic **(Senior) Manager, Solution Engineering
** to lead our Manufacturing Solution Engineering team in Switzerland. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for building and developing a high-performing team, driving innovation in solution selling, and partnering closely with Sales Leadership to deliver Salesforce’s transformational value proposition to strategic accounts.

*** Lead and grow a seasoned Solution Engineering team, ensuring continuous hiring, retention and career growth of top talent.
* Provide exemplary leadership and foster a culture of collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement.
* Mentor and develop team members to strengthen technical and sales-oriented capabilities.
** Strategic Sales Partnership
*** Partner with Sales leadership to support and drive Salesforce’s transformation value proposition into strategic Manufacturing accounts.
* Prioritize and qualify resource investments to maximize impact across the sales cycle.
* Work as a trusted advisor to business and technology leaders, shaping customer digital transformation strategies.
** Customer & Market Impact
*** Build and nurture C-level relationships to deepen account penetration and strategic impact.
* Ensure delivery of exceptional customer experiences aligned to business requirements and outcomes.
* Represent Salesforce in executive round tables, industry forums, and customer events.
** Innovation & Thought Leadership
*** Drive innovation in pre-sales approaches, ensuring the team constantly improves how it positions and demonstrates solutions.
* Develop ecosystem partnerships to co-deliver along the sales cycle.
** Minimum Requirements
*** Prior experience as a Solution Engineering Manager (or equivalent leadership experience) or Team Lead is preferred.
* Proven experience partnering with Sales teams to deliver value and drive growth.
* Demonstrated success in mentoring and inspiring teams to deliver with passion and innovation.
* Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
* Strong ability to grasp and clearly explain both business and technology concepts.
* Deep understanding of business processes and enterprise applications.
* Passion for technology, cloud computing, and driving digital transformation.
* Fluency in English;
German is essential.
** Desired Skills
*** Experience in SaaS platforms, CRM solutions or enterprise software.
* Track record in C-level engagement and executive influence.
* Strong strategic mindset with an ability to guide teams in competitive, fast-paced environments.
* Hands-on experience with cross-functional collaboration and sales strategy execution.
