Business Analyst

A leading global insurance organization is looking for an IT Business Analyst to join a high-profile strategic program focused on designing and building an end-to-end underwriting platform for Commercial Insurance
. You will work closely with business stakeholders, architects, developers, and testers to define business requirements, design functional solutions, and ensure high-quality implementation in a complex, global delivery environment.

In this role, you will play a key part in shaping business processes, translating business needs into IT requirements, and supporting the full delivery lifecycle - from requirements definition through implementation, testing, and production support.

• Understanding business objectives, processes, guidelines, and products to validate requirements and ensure strategic alignment
• Leading requirement elicitation workshops with business stakeholders, subject matter experts, and end users
• Analysing as-is and to-be processes and translating them into functional solution concepts
• Creating detailed functional and IT requirement specifications
• Applying agreed design principles and contributing to solution architecture discussions
• Providing input on solution alternatives and participating in cross-team workshops
• Owning assigned topics end-to-end
  , including scope, dependencies, quality, and timelines
• Supporting testing activities, change management, and training preparation
• Supporting backlog management, planning activities, and delivery dependencies
• Participating in post-implementation activities, including documentation and production support

• Minimum 5+ years of experience as a hands-on Business Analyst in large-scale, global transformation programs
• Strong experience working in agile delivery environments
• Proven ability to capture complex business requirements and translate them into structured IT specifications
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• High level of ownership, proactivity, and delivery focus
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work under pressure in complex, multi-vendor and multicultural environments
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, business information systems, or equivalent
