As a Presales Engineer you will be a core member of our presales and deployment team and closely collaborate with our sales channel and support & engineering teams as well as our customers and partners. In particular you will:
- You will support the sales and channel teams in product demonstrations as well as during the onboarding and training of new customers and partners.
- You will deliver technical presentations to prospective customers, showcase use-cases and articulate technical capabilities of Exeons products (NDR and UEBA).
- You will engage with prospective customers, listening and understanding their needs, challenges and requirements, and respond to technical and/or functional questions.
- Together with partners you will design and architect an Exeon deployment in bigger RfPs, according to customer requirements and security best practices.
- You will drive PoCs processes as well as subscription projects and lead and advise customers during the deployment of our products.
- You will work with partners and customers on the analysis of network and application behaviours during PoCs and projects and make security recommendations based on findings of Exeons products.
- Together with partners and customers you will define, implement and document the integration and setup of Exeons products for the various data sources.
- With your experience and dedicated personality you will support our customers in the integration of Exeons products into their SOC processes.
- You will engage with customers and partners on the tailoring of their detection use cases within the SOC organization. Some projects may be on site at customers or partners locations (primarily in the DACH region).
- You will document and communicate product feedback and new requirements and work closely with the different technical teams to further improve our products.
- For select customers you will develop new and tune existing analysers, feeding back into the deployment pipeline to improve detection algorithms.

- Interest and passion for cybersecurity and the culture of a fast-growing scale-up
- Proven experience in the field of detection technology (SIEM, EDR, NDR, IDS); 3-5 years experience as a security consultant/presales engineer in these fields, including topics:
- Designing Security Architectures
- Implementing Network Security incl. DNS
- Syslog collection and processing
- Leading and coordinating PoCs/PoVs and projects
- Interactions with high-ranking clients and the conclusion of challenging deals
- Fluent German and English speaker
