About You

Do you get satisfaction from making releases boring and systems predictable? Do you like building the quality gates, CI/CD, monitoring, and security defaults that prevent demo and customer surprises? Can you balance pragmatism with a high bar and help a team ship faster by breaking less? If so, we’d love to hear from you.

🛠️ Your Responsibilities

As a Quality, Reliability and Security Engineer (Dev Ops, QA, Dev Sec Ops ) you will own shipping confidence across testing, deployment, monitoring, migrations, and security‑by‑default.

  • Testing system ownership: define and implement the testing “golden path” (unit, integration, E2E) for critical workflows.
  • CI automation: build reliable pipelines that run fast, fail clearly, and prevent flaky tests from blocking progress.
  • CD and release engineering: automate safe deploys, environment promotion, rollbacks, and release notes.
  • Prod stability: improve observability (logs, metrics, traces), alerting, incident hygiene, and “demo‑killer” detection.
  • Security by design: embed secure defaults (secrets, least privilege, dependency scanning, basic threat awareness) beyond just compliance.
  • Data migrations: create repeatable migration workflows and playbooks for multi‑environment and customer database splits.
  • Environment hygiene: reduce outdated code/data (demo profiles, dead pages, stale test fixtures) and enforce lifecycle policies.
  • Collaboration: align with engineers and business on what must work, how we test it, and what we monitor.

In your first months you will: establish a baseline of reliability and security risks, implement the testing and release golden path, and reduce the most frequent production surprises with measurable improvements.

✅ Minimum qualifications
  • Hands‑on experience in Dev Ops/SRE/QA automation for a production SaaS product.
  • Strong skills in CI/CD and test automation (integration and E2E, not only unit tests).
  • Experience with monitoring and debugging production issues (log analysis, alert tuning, postmortems).
  • Solid security fundamentals for product teams (secrets handling, access control, dependency hygiene).
  • Comfort working with modern web stacks and databases (Docker, Postgre

    SQL, service‑to‑service systems).
  • Ownership mindset, clear communication, and willingness to define and improve workflows.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Availability full‑time. On‑site in Zurich at least two days per week (hybrid).
🎯 Preferred qualifications
  • Experience with Azure infrastructure and services (IaC, identity, networking, observability).
  • Familiarity with our stack:
    Type Script, Node.js, NestJS, Next.js
    .
  • Practical experience with ISO 27001 environments or security auditing support.
  • Experience testing and operating AI‑powered systems (nondeterminism, rate limits, flaky dependencies).
  • You have a Swiss work permit or EU/EFTA citizenship.
  • Working proficiency in German
    .
🤝 Benefits
  • Direct impact: your work reduces incidents, prevents demo failures, and increases customer trust.
  • Autonomy & ownership: you own the foundations of shipping confidence and security defaults.
  • Team: work with a sharp, interdisciplinary team at the intersection of AI and law.
  • Compensation: CHF 7 000–11 000 per month + ESOP (employee stock options), depending on experience and skills.

We’re excited to hear from candidates who want to make our product stable, secure, and easy to ship. Apply today by pressing the Apply button.
