• Defining, implementing, and continuously improving the company-wide information security strategy and governance framework in alignment with business objectives and best practices
• Reporting to senior management and advising on the risk profile, compliance requirements, and security priorities
• Developing and improving security policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines as part of the ISMS
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory and industry-specific frameworks (ISO 9001, ISO 27001, ISO 27701, DSG, GDPR, and other applicable standards)
• Leading company-wide risk assessments, threat modeling, and risk mitigation planning
• Coordinating company-wide awareness initiatives and training programs
• Responsibility for the vulnerability and incident management process
• Developing and maintaining business continuity plans and emergency procedures in collaboration with relevant stakeholders
• Assessing and monitoring partners’ security compliance and coordinating necessary improvements
• Supporting internal IT staff by providing security guidelines and assistance with compliance with policies and standards. Ensuring asset management and documentation
• Supporting customer projects by advising on security requirements and best practices. Reviewing project scopes, contracts, and drafts for security implications
• Planning and conducting internal audits and compliance checks, managing external audits, and serving as the primary point of contact

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, information security, enterprise risk management, or a related field
• Experience in information security or related functions (risk, compliance, governance), as well as a proven track record in establishing and leading security programs, ideally in a software or technology environment
• In-depth knowledge of security frameworks, governance, and audit processes
• A dynamic, flexible, and pragmatic approach to solving security challenges
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams and influence stakeholders
• Skill in balancing security requirements and business priorities, as well as in providing clear, actionable instructions
• Excellent German and English language skills are required
• Knowledge of French or Italian is a plus
