DevOps Engineer

What You Will Do

• Design, implement, and maintain automated deployment workflows using Ansible and Git Lab CI/CD.
• Own end‑to‑end Git Ops deployment processes using Git Lab CI/CD, including environment promotion, rollout strategies and configuration management.
• Build and maintain infrastructure-as-code solutions for application and platform components using tools such as Helm, Terraform, and Ansible to ensure repeatable, auditable changes.
• Support and optimize on‑premise and cloud infrastructure, including Microsoft platforms and Azure administration, with a focus on resilience, performance, and low‑latency readiness.
• Define and continuously improve monitoring, alerting, dashboards, and runbooks to strengthen operational stability and incident response.
• Develop automation and integration scripts in Power Shell, Python, Perl, Bash, and CMD, and work with structured formats such as XML, JSON, and XSL where required.
• Operate and support monitoring and job scheduling platforms such as Patrol, Elastic, Grafana, and Airflow.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and security teams to ensure reliable delivery, stable operations, and effective problem resolution.

• Strong Dev Ops mindset with experience across the software delivery lifecycle and operating production systems.
• Hands‑on experience with enterprise IT infrastructure in complex environments, including Cisco, Windows, Linux, Active Directory, Kerberos, and virtualized platforms.
• Strong scripting skills in Python and shell, along with practical experience using Git Lab CI/CD; experience with Ansible and infrastructure‑as‑code is highly valued.
• Solid understanding of Linux, networking fundamentals, and containerization concepts such as Docker, Podman, Open Shift images, registries, runtime, and security.
• Experience with monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, Splunk, or similar tools in containerized environments.
• Strong security awareness, including PKI certificate handling, firewall administration, vulnerability management, and work in security‑conscious environments.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and a structured approach to incident, problem, release, and change management.
• Experience supporting operational stability, compliance, disaster recovery planning, documentation, and cross‑functional collaboration.
• Clear communication skills with the ability to explain technical topics to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Fluent English;
  German and/or Spanish are an advantage.
