Global Head of Vision AI

Job Overview

You will lead Advertima’s global Vision AI organization and define the technological direction of our Computer Vision stack.

Your focus is the Capture layer of our technology platform: understanding physical shoppers and physical environments in real time through Computer Vision.

You will lead and scale a high-performance engineering culture focused on solving real-world perception challenges at enterprise scale.

• Own the Physical-World Perception Layer: responsible for shopper detection, multi-person tracking, 3D positioning, head pose estimation, body pose estimation, spatial understanding, contextual scene analysis, sensor fusion, and edge AI inference optimization.
• Drive Computer Vision Innovation across perception systems, spatial AI, edge inference, multimodal perception, and privacy-preserving AI architectures.
• Bridge Research and Real-World Deployment: transform advanced research into production-ready systems operating globally across thousands of edge AI devices.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Audience AI, Platform Engineering, Product, Hardware & Procurement, while maintaining ownership of the Vision AI domain.
• Represent Advertima externally as a leader in Computer Vision through technical discussions, conferences, customer engagements, and industry conversations.

Educational Background:

• Advanced degree (MSc or PhD preferred) in Computer Vision, Computer Science, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, or related technical fields.

Experience:

• 10+ years in Computer Vision and AI systems.
• Proven experience leading Computer Vision teams.
• Experience deploying CV systems into real-world production.
• Experience scaling AI infrastructure across large deployments.

Technical

Skills:

• 3D Computer Vision, Multi-object tracking, Pose estimation, Spatial AI, Sensor fusion, Edge AI inference, Real-time perception systems, Distributed AI systems.

Leadership

Skills:

• Deep technical expertise, operational pragmatism, strong execution, strategic thinking.

Technology Vision:

• Strong intuition for where CV and physical-world AI will head in next 5–10 years.
• Belief that real-time physical world understanding will become foundational infrastructure.
