Data AnalystKey Responsibilities:
- Analyse complex datasets to uncover trends and provide strategic pricing recommendations
- Perform statistical analyses to support business decisions
- Present clear, actionable insights to stakeholders
- Integrates data from multiple data sources or functional areas
- Ensures data accuracy and integrity
- Performs ad-hoc statistical analysis
- Assist in the change management and tracking for new processes implementation
- Coordinate with IT, Marketing, Accounting, Process Improvement, Change Management, and others as needed
Our client, a leader in the manufacturing sector, is seeking an experienced
Data Analystto join their team. This role is focused onpricing analytics and delivering actionable insights to drive strategic pricing decisions. Dashboarding and process automation will be minor aspects of this position.
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in a relevant field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Economics, or a related discipline - Experience:
3–5 years in a data analyst or similar analytics role, ideally within manufacturing or pricing analytics
Technical
Skills:
- Proficiency inSQLfor data extraction, manipulation, and analysis (including SELECT, JOINs, GROUP BY, aggregate functions, etc.)
- Preferred experience using Big Query or snowflake
- Experience with at least one statistical programming language, such asRorPython, for advanced analytics and modelling
- Strong skills in Excel and familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- Ability to apply statistical methods and pricing models to real-world business questions
- Excellent analytical thinking, communication, and problem-solving abilities
