Onnec are recruitming for a Workplace Technology Services (WTS) Engineer to join our team supporting a key client in Zurich, Switzerland
.

This is a hands‑on, client‑facing role where you will deliver high‑quality IT infrastructure support across a live enterprise environment, covering both BAU support and project‑based activities.

This position will play a key role in ensuring seamless delivery of IMACD services, incident resolution, and infrastructure maintenance within a fast‑paced, process‑driven setting.

The role is based on the client site, Monday - Friday, working a standard business day within a (7am - 7pm window). There may also be an on‑call requirement for this role for out of hours coverage.

• Deliver IMAC / IMACD services including installs, moves, adds, and decommissions
• Provide first and second line break‑fix support across hardware and infrastructure
• Carry out structured cabling, patching, and connectivity work
• Support technology rooms/data centre environments including rack & stack
• Manage and update tickets in line with SLA requirements
• Perform asset tracking, stock management, and logistics coordination
• Escort and supervise third‑party/vendor activities onsite
• Maintain accurate documentation, reporting, and handovers
• Ensure compliance with client processes, quality standards, and H&S requirements

• Strong knowledge of:
  • IMACD services
  • Break‑fix support
  • Structured cabling and patching
• Experience working in live corporate or data centre environments
• Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g. Service Now)
• Strong troubleshooting and fault‑finding skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement
