Functional Business Analyst – Core Banking Systems

• Requirement Analysis
  :
  Gather, document, and analyze business requirements related to core banking systems and private banking services.
• Functional Specifications
  :
  Develop clear and detailed functional specifications for system changes, ensuring alignment with business goals and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Core Banking Systems Support
  :
  Work with IT and vendor teams to support, configure, and optimize core banking systems, ensuring operational needs of the private banking business.
• Testing & Validation
  :
  Develop and execute test plans for new system features and enhancements. Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) with stakeholders.
• Project Coordination
  :
  Participate in project teams for system upgrades, new implementations, and other technology initiatives within private banking. Track progress and report milestones.
• Data Analysis & Reporting
  :
  Analyze and interpret data from core banking systems to provide insights into business operations and identify potential areas for improvement.
• Stakeholder Communication
  :
  Act as a liaison between business units, IT, and external vendors, ensuring clear and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Functional Business Analyst, preferably within private banking or financial services.
• Strong experience with core banking systems; ability to analyze, configure, and support system functionalities.
• Solid understanding of private banking operations, products, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, and ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; capable of working effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience with SQL is a must; other data analysis tools are a plus.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English and in German.
