Data Architect​/Data Modelling Expert

For our client, an international insurance company, we are looking for an experienced Data Architect / Data Modelling Expert to support a global finance transformation project. You will be part of a Zurich-based team driving the development of a global finance data platform.

• You are available immediately (within 1-2 weeks) in Zuric
• You bring extensive experience in data architecture, data modelling within complex transformation program
• You have a strong understanding of finance processes and data structures, including the interaction between local and group-level reporting
• You are able to translate business requirements into structured, scalable data models and concepts
• You have hands‑on experience with modern data platforms and cloud environments (e.g. lakehouse architectures, Snowflake, Databricks)
• You communicate confidently with both business and IT stakeholders and align different perspectives effectively
• You think in an AI‑first manner and are comfortable designing processes leveraging modern technologies; certifications such as CDMP and extensive professional experience are a plus
• You communicate fluently in English
• You design and own business‑driven data models enabling consistent finance reporting, planning and analytics across the organization
• You act as the key interface between finance and technology, translating business needs into scalable data solutions
• You design and oversee end‑to‑end data flows from source systems into a global finance data hub
• You define and implement data standards, definitions and governance principles to ensure consistent and reliable data usage
• You collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to establish harmonized data structures and support the overall transformation journey
