Job Summary

Qualifications

Experience in database development using Oracle PL/SQL.
Good experience in SQL (joins, functions, sub‑queries, data manipulation, etc.).
Very strong Oracle PL/SQL programming experience (procedures, packages, functions, exceptions, triggers, etc.) in Oracle 11g or above.
Working knowledge of database tools such as TOAD, SQL Developer.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
Avaloq Certification or equivalent experience is mandatory.
Experience in design and parameterisation/customisation across multiple functional streams.
Good knowledge of Unix scripting.
Experience in Avaloq modules such as Credit, Payment, PFM, Tax, Cost and Fees, STEX, Compliance, Accountancy, or any other Avaloq modules.
Non‑technical / soft‑skills experience.
Good communication skills (German (Europe) and English).
Experience with testing in Agile projects.

Responsibilities

Provide technical guidance to a team of developers, enhancing their technical capabilities and increasing productivity.

Conduct comprehensive code reviews, establish and oversee quality assurance processes, performance optimisation, and implement best practices and coding standards to ensure successful delivery of complex projects.

Ensure process compliance in the assigned module and participate in technical discussions/reviews as a technical consultant for feasibility studies (technical alternatives, best packages, supporting architecture best practices, technical risks, breakdown into components, estimations).

Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, deliverables and prepare and submit status reports to minimise exposure and closure of escalations.
