Overview

The AWS Professional Services (Pro Serve) team is seeking a Principal Delivery Consultant to join AWS. In this role, you will work closely with customers to design, implement, and manage AWS solutions that meet technical requirements and business objectives. You will drive customer success through the cloud journey, providing technical expertise and best practices throughout the project lifecycle. You will architect complex, scalable, and secure solutions, gather requirements, assess current infrastructure, and propose migration strategies to AWS.

You will lead the implementation process, ensuring adherence to best practices, optimizing performance, and managing risks throughout the project.

• Designing, implementing, and building complex, scalable, and secure GenAI and ML applications and models built on AWS tailored to customer needs
• Produce AI-native deliverables — custom AI tools for customers rather than static documents or generic artifacts
• Must have both business fluency AND technical capability
• Comfortable navigating complex customer relationships, identifying business problems and building trust
• Providing technical guidance and implementation support throughout project delivery, with a focus on using AWS AI/ML services
• Collaborating with customer stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective model training, building, and deployment strategies
• Acting as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologies
• Sharing knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts

• 8+ years of cloud architecture and solution implementation experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, or a related field
• Experience managing and delivering large-scale enterprise IT projects
• Experience with IT compliance and risk management requirements (e.g. security, privacy, SOX, HIPAA etc.)
• Experience with software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile/iterative methodologies

• Degree in advanced technology, or AWS Professional level certification
• Knowledge of compliance and security standards across the enterprise IT landscape
• Knowledge of AWS services including compute, storage, networking, security, databases, machine learning, and serverless technologies
• Knowledge of security and compliance standards including HIPAA and GDPR
• Experience implementing AWS services in a variety of distributed computing environments
• Experience managing executive customer relationships and key business stakeholders
• Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks (like TOGAF, Zachman) and identifying the relationships between business services, information, applications and global infrastructure assets
• Experience with enterprise systems including SAP, Oracle, and custom applications
• Experience in performance optimization and cost management for cloud environments
• Experience explaining technical concepts in pre-sales environments
