Information Technology System Engineer

Finders is looking for an ICT System Engineer – IAM (WAF/WAM) (80–100%)

On behalf of our client, we are looking for an experienced ICT System Engineer – IAM (WAF/WAM) to join a highly secure and mission‑critical environment based at Zurich Airport
.

• Design, implement and configure Web Application Firewall (WAF) and Web Access Management (WAM) solutions.
• Manage and optimize WAF rule engines and security policies.
• Integrate SSO, MFA and federated identity solutions (SAML, OIDC).
• Analyze security logs and support incident resolution.
• Perform upgrades, patching and performance optimization in high‑availability environments.
• Work closely with developers, application managers, SOC teams and external partners.

• Fluent German and English are must.
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent qualification.
• Several years of experience with enterprise WAF solutions and Access Management systems.
• Strong knowledge of HTTP/S, SSL/TLS, TCP/IP and authentication protocols (OAuth2, OpenID Connect, SAML 2.0).
• Experience with vulnerability analysis and modern web technologies (REST APIs, JSON).
• Structured, solution‑oriented mindset and strong communication skills.
