About the role
As an MSAT Data Expert (Plasma), you will play a key role in advancing Takeda's digital manufacturing and CMC data strategy within the Plasma business. You will help transform complex manufacturing and process information into structured, analysis-ready data that enables operational excellence, advanced analytics, and next-generation digital capabilities. Working at the intersection of manufacturing, process science, and data, you will contribute to building the digital foundations that support innovation across Takeda's global Plasma network.
How you contribute
- Develop and maintain CMC data taxonomies, ontologies, metadata models, and business rules for the Plasma modality.
- Ensure process data is accurate, contextualized, and analysis-ready across manufacturing systems and sites.
- Partner with MSAT, Manufacturing, Quality, and Digital teams to improve data capture, integration, and utilization.
- Support the implementation of global CMC data standards, governance frameworks, SOPs, and job aids.
- Act as the subject matter expert for CMC data stewardship and governance within the Plasma organization.
- Enable data integration across manufacturing and enterprise platforms to support modelling, analytics, and digital use cases.
- Drive data quality, integrity, and GxP compliance while supporting inspection readiness activities.
- Promote knowledge sharing, continuous improvement, and adoption of data-driven ways of working across the organization.
What you bring to Takeda
- Advanced degree in Data Science, Engineering, Bioinformatics, Life Sciences, Computer Science, Chemical Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, or another relevant STEM discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences industry, ideally supporting CMC, MSAT, manufacturing, or Plasma operations.
- Experience working with CMC process data, data modelling, metadata management, taxonomies, ontologies, or data governance principles.
- Knowledge of data integration approaches and experience operating within GxP-regulated environments.
- Familiarity with manufacturing and digital platforms such as OSI PI, MES, LIMS, Databricks, AWS, or similar technologies is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to translate complex manufacturing processes into scalable digital solutions.
- Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary and global teams.
- Curiosity, learning agility, and a passion for innovation, digital transformation, and enabling data-driven decision making through high-quality digital capabilities.
