PoC Engineer – Microsoft 365 Backup at Allps

We are looking for a PoC Engineer to execute and validate Microsoft 365 backup Proof of Concepts (PoCs). The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with Microsoft 365 backup solutions, Power Shell, and APIs, along with strong documentation skills to create operational procedures and runbooks.

• Execute and manage Microsoft 365 backup Proof of Concept (PoC) activities.
• Conduct scheduled restore and disaster recovery drills to validate backup reliability.
• Validate PoC success criteria, including backup throughput, data coverage, and recovery performance.
• Troubleshoot backup and restore issues during testing.
• Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), operational runbooks, and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering and infrastructure teams to improve backup processes and operational readiness.

• 4+ years of experience with Microsoft 365 backup technologies.
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft 365 workloads, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, One Drive, and Microsoft Teams.
• Strong knowledge of Power Shell scripting and API integration.
• Experience executing Proof of Concepts (PoCs), testing, or validation activities.
• Understanding of backup, recovery, and disaster recovery concepts.
• Excellent technical documentation and communication skills.

• Experience with enterprise backup solutions such as Veeam
  , Commvault
  , Rubrik
  , Cohesity
  , or Ave Point .
• Experience with Microsoft Graph API.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 security and compliance.
• Microsoft 365 or Azure certifications.
