Legal Counsel – Technology & Privacy at Allps

We are looking for a proactive and business-oriented Legal Counsel to support our growing technology business. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams including product, business, operations, security, and leadership to manage commercial contracts, privacy compliance, and regulatory matters while enabling scalable business growth.

The ideal candidate is comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment, can independently handle legal negotiations, and is able to balance legal risk with practical business outcomes.

• Draft, review, negotiate, and close SaaS, vendor, partnership, and other commercial agreements with minimal reliance on external counsel
• Provide practical legal advice on technology, commercial, privacy, and compliance matters
• Advise on GDPR compliance and support handling of user data requests, regulatory inquiries, and government data requests in alignment with company privacy commitments
• Review and improve internal legal templates, workflows, and compliance processes to reduce legal bottlenecks across the business
• Partner with business and product teams to support expansion into new markets by assessing regulatory requirements and enabling compliant product rollouts
• Support ongoing compliance initiatives related to data protection, digital platforms, and emerging technology regulations
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to identify legal risks and provide clear, actionable recommendations
• Coordinate with external counsel when required for specialized legal matters or jurisdiction-specific advice
• Assist in developing scalable legal operations and documentation practices across the organization

• 3+ years of legal experience in a law firm or in-house legal role
• Meaningful exposure to technology companies, SaaS businesses, or digital platforms
• Strong working knowledge of GDPR and EU data protection laws with practical application experience
• Proven ability to independently draft, review, and negotiate commercial technology agreements
• Strong business judgment with the ability to distinguish between critical legal risks and practical operational decisions
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-moving and evolving environment
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

• Exposure to AI regulation, including the EU AI Act
• Experience advising on AI product development or AI governance frameworks
• Experience handling government legal requests, regulatory investigations, or enforcement proceedings
• Familiarity with global privacy and technology regulations beyond the EU framework
