Databricks Solution Architekt (Azure

vacancy for our Zurich based client in the Banking sector

Your tasks:

• Define and align the target architecture for the Azure Databricks analytics platform
• Design the technical solution and provide architectural guidance for platform development and migration activities
• Act as a technical subject matter expert for stakeholders and development teams
• Support the design and delivery of new analytics and data use cases
• Guide the migration of data and workloads from the legacy environment to the new cloud platform
• Ensure best practice in data architecture, platform design, and scalable cloud delivery

Your experience/knowledge:

• Several years of experience as a Databricks Solution Architect
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure Databricks and modern analytics platform design
  
  Proven background in data architecture, data modelling, and analytics platform migration
• Experience working in regulated enterprise environments is an advantage
• Desirable knowledge of Dev Ops, CI/CD, Oracle Exadata, and Azure Cloud Services
• Language skills:
  German

• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking
• Excellent communication skills across different stakeholder groups
• Structured, independent, and solution-oriented working style
