IT Programme ​/ Project Lead Infrastructure (IT Service Management

As an IT Programme / Project Lead, you will manage a Service Now programme and ensure the end-to-end delivery of related IT projects, from feasibility and planning through execution and operational handover.

• Translating programme objectives into actionable work packages
• Managing project scope, timelines, budgets, costs, resources and delivery progress
• Coordinating release planning, platform upgrades and technical dependencies with the Service Now Platform team
• Aligning projects with the Service Now roadmap and wider strategic objectives
• Ensuring compliance with internal governance frameworks and delivery standards
• Maintaining the quality and compliance of all project deliverables
• Providing timely and transparent reporting to sponsors, steering committees and senior management
• Working closely with Global IT Service Management and IT Service Engineering teams to define priorities
• Identifying and engaging key technical and business stakeholders
• Managing risks, issues and dependencies across multiple projects at programme level
• Leading and motivating cross-functional project teams
• Coordinating external vendors and contractual deliverables
• Ensuring the successful transition of completed solutions to operational teams

• At least 10 years of proven IT project or programme management experience
• Senior-level experience managing complex projects using Waterfall, Agile and hybrid delivery methodologies
• Strong experience within IT Service Management environments
• Good understanding of ITSM processes and ITIL best practices
• Solid knowledge of Service Now and its core capabilities, particularly ITSM and Configuration Management Database (CMDB)
• Proven ability to manage dependencies across several concurrent projects
• Experience with project planning, resource management, budgeting, cost control and progress monitoring
• Strong vendor and contract management experience
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including executive-level reporting
• Strong analytical, conceptual and problem-solving capabilities
• Structured, proactive and results-oriented approach with a high level of ownership
• Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment
• Higher education in Computer Science, Business Informatics or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience
• Professional proficiency with Jira, Confluence and Microsoft Office
• Business-fluent German and English, both written and spoken, at C1/C2 level

• Previous experience within financial services or another large-scale enterprise IT environment
• Knowledge of additional Service Now modules and Common Service Data Model (CSDM) concepts
• Project or programme management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, MSP or IPMA
• ITIL v3 or ITIL 4 certification
