Data Platform Engineer

As a Data Platform Engineer, you operate, evolve, and automate modern data platforms on Kubernetes. You build and run scalable cloud and container environments while streamlining build and deployment processes. Together with your team, you strengthen platform stability, security, and observability. Based in Zurich with hybrid work, you use modern technologies and methods to create impact.

• Operate and evolve production-grade Kubernetes platforms including networking, security, and lifecycle management
• Automate infrastructure and deployments with ArgoCD
• Administer and optimize data and middleware components such as Kafka and workflow orchestration
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and drive continuous improvement for high stability, security, and observability
• Hybrid work in Zurich within an engaged environment with joy in collaboration

• Several years of experience as a Data Platform Engineer, Dev Ops Engineer, or in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and ArgoCD as well as automated build and deployment processes
• Experience with cloud environments and observability stacks, plus data platforms and relational databases
• Optional:
  Degree in Computer Science or an equivalent qualification
• Structured, transparent, proactive, and engaged
• Communicative, team-oriented, and curious with joy in collaboration
• Reliable, self-directed, and solution-oriented
• Very good German, English an advantage
