IT Project Lead Infrastructure

Duration:12 months - with possibility of extension

• Evaluate and implement a cloud-based Web Application and API Protection (WAAP) solution, replacing the current on-premises WAF infrastructure protecting approximately 60 applications.
• Run a parallel POC to assess migration of the existing appliance-based WAF platform to a Kubernetes-based deployment model, driven by the vendor's planned discontinuation of appliance support.
• Lead both initiatives end-to-end, coordinate stakeholders, and support strategic decision-making regarding the future web application security platform.

• Professional project management certification (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, IPMA Level C/B) — equivalent professional experience also considered
• Cyber security certifications (e.g. CISSP, CISM, CCSP or equivalent) beneficial but not mandatory
• Proven experience leading complex IT infrastructure, cloud, and/or cyber security projects in enterprise environments
• Strong project management expertise, including planning, execution, and delivery management
• Experience managing technology evaluations, proof-of-concepts (PoCs), and implementation projects
• Good understanding of WAF, API security, and cloud-based security solutions
• Familiarity with container platforms and Kubernetes-based architectures
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and managing dependencies across multiple work streams
• Strong vendor and service provider management experience
• Experience preparing management reports, decision papers, and steering committee materials
• Strong risk, issue, budget, and timeline management capabilities
