Zurich Canada is currently looking for a post-secondary student for an internship/co-op for fall 2026 position to provide support with various projects and tasks to support business initiatives within our Technology Services team. Reporting to the Technology Services Manager, you will support day-to-day IT operations and end-user technology services across the organization.

You will work under direct supervision and perform requested tasks alongside experienced professionals.

This is a fully onsite role based in our Toronto office.

• Provide first-level IT support through helpdesk tickets and walk-in requests.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues for end users.
• Assist with laptop imaging, configuration, deployment, and replacement activities.
• Support onboarding activities by preparing and installing laptops for new hires.
• Maintain accurate IT asset inventory records and assist with asset lifecycle management using Service Now.
• Assist with equipment moves, deployments, collections, and refresh projects.
• Support Microsoft Teams Rooms, meeting room technologies, and company events requiring IT assistance.
• Follow documented processes, procedures, and security standards when performing IT support activities.
• Collaborate with team members and other IT groups to resolve incidents and service requests.
• Participate in operational projects and process improvement initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required:

• Currently enrolled in a university program, ideally in Information Technology, Computer Networking, Computer Systems Technology or a related field
• Third- or fourth-year student preferred
• Be legally eligible to work in Canada

Preferred:

• Experience supporting laptops, mobile devices, or classroom/lab technology through coursework, internships, volunteer work, or personal projects.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 applications including Outlook, Teams, Share Points, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of ticketing or IT service management tools such as Service Now.
• Understanding of computer networking fundamentals and troubleshooting techniques.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation for roles at Zurich varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.

The salary range provided is a nationwide market range and has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location where the position may be filled.

As required by local law, Zurich provides in good faith a reasonable range of compensation for roles.

Compensation may exceed the range listed based on the evaluation of skillset and experience. The starting salary range for this position is $54,600 - 66,000.
