In this impactful role, you will leverage advanced analytics, artificial intelligence and automation to enhance reserving processes and support data-driven decision-making. You will act as a key contact for IT-related questions, drive data improvement projects, and educate actuarial colleagues on the efficient use of AI and data transformation tools. Your contributions will ensure the security, stability, and efficiency of reserving processes while fostering innovation and collaboration across the region.

What you can expect- You support the development, automation, and optimization of our tools, including the use of AI agents to create innovative solutions.
- You act as the point of contact for all IT-related questions in the EME Reserving Centre of Excellence, ensuring technical challenges are efficiently resolved.
- You advise, coordinate, and drive data improvement projects to enhance data accessibility, quality and utilization.
- You review the data transformation and reserving processes with a focus on efficiency, stability and security, and drive continuous improvements.
- You educate actuarial colleagues in the efficient use of AI tools, relevant programming languages, and other data and technology-related capabilities.
- Strong programming skills in Python or R, with experience developing AI solutions and AI agents using Claude Code or similar tools. Familiarity with Power BI, DAX and Power Query will be an advantage.
- Previous experience in a data-science related role in the insurance industry.
- A team-oriented, curious, and positive personality, supported by strong communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills.
- Fluent English; additional European languages are an advantage.
- A Master’s degree in mathematics, statistics, physics, actuarial sciences, computer science, or a related field, and either a completed or partly completed actuarial qualification or a willingness to pursue one.
Start date:
from 01.11.2026 or by agreement
Travel: up to 10% per year
Hybrid working: up to 40%
