Senior Test Manager (Permanent)
This is a senior leadership role responsible for defining and establishing the end-to-end testing capability across a complex enterprise transformation programme. The successful candidate will own testing strategy, governance, methodologies, tooling and delivery across an integrated ecosystem centred around SAP S/4
HANA Public Cloud and Salesforce platforms.
The role appears to be at the early build stage, with groundwork having been started by a contractor, but significant implementation work still required. It would suit someone who has previously built testing functions, frameworks and automation strategies from scratch within large-scale ERP and CRM transformation programmes.
Key Responsibilities- Define and implement the enterprise test strategy.
- Establish testing methodologies, standards and governance.
- Oversee all test cycles across the entire application landscape.
- Drive adoption of test automation and automation tooling.
- Manage integration, system, end-to-end and UAT testing activities.
- Coordinate testing across SAP, Salesforce and third-party platforms.
- Build testing processes, reporting and quality metrics.
- Engage with business stakeholders, project teams and vendors.
- Ensure quality assurance supports programme delivery timelines.
- Lead continuous improvement of testing capability and maturity.
- Extensive Test Management leadership experience.
- Proven experience establishing enterprise-wide testing functions.
- Strong SAP S/4
HANA Public Cloud programme experience. - Salesforce ecosystem testing experience.
- Experience across:
- Sales Cloud
- B2B Commerce Cloud
- Salesforce Field Service
- Deep understanding of integration testing between SAP and Salesforce.
- Demonstrable test automation strategy and implementation experience.
- Experience selecting and implementing testing tools/frameworks.
- Strong stakeholder management and governance skills.
- Experience leading large-scale business transformation programmes.
- Experience in multi-country deployments.
- SAP Activate or equivalent delivery methodology exposure.
- Experience with automation tools such as Tricentis Tosca, Worksoft, Selenium or similar.
- Background building Testing Centres of Excellence.
- Experience with in regulated or complex enterprise environments
