Position: Project Manager Banking (dmw)
Location: Zürich

Looking to support our Team in Zurich which is launching a transformative initiative with one of our major Financial Institutions: the implementation of a scalable and efficient client billing solution. We are seeking a Project leader someone who thrives in dynamic environments and is eager to make a significant impact on the future of banking. This is your opportunity to lead a high‑stakes complex project that combines technological excellence with strategic business objectives.

Role

The Project manager will be the orchestrator of this strategic initiative responsible for overseeing all phases from planning to execution coordinating stakeholders and ensuring project success.

Your responsibilities
  • Leading complex international projects including technical integrations business initiatives.
  • Defining and implementing the global strategy: roadmap budget KPIs tracking and executive reporting.
  • Ensuring high service quality by supervising project documentation training materials and support.
  • Bridge Business and IT teams by translating technical topics into business language and aligning priorities.
  • Representing and defending our projects to the client, its management subsidiaries and external partners.
  • Managing coaching and developing the Synechron team fostering collaboration, autonomy and performance.
Qualifications
  • You have proven experience managing complex international projects demonstrating strong coordination and delivery capabilities.
  • You possess significant experience in team management both direct and cross‑functional fostering collaboration and high performance.
  • You have a solid business acumen capable of aligning digital solutions with commercial objectives to generate tangible value.
  • Experience in digital transformation initiatives within an international group is a strong asset.
  • You hold a technical or functional background enabling you to understand system integrations; familiarity with middleware or ERP systems is a plus.
  • You are skilled in project management methodologies ensuring efficient project delivery and risk mitigation.
  • You demonstrate leadership with a structured and pragmatic approach, delegate effectively, set clear directions and maintain operational focus when needed.
  • You possess a strategic mindset complemented by excellent organizational skills.
  • You have outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities capable of engaging and motivating cross‑functional teams.
  • You demonstrate resilience, diplomacy, precision and a strong results‑oriented attitude.
  • You are able to simplify complex technical topics for business audiences facilitating understanding and decision‑making.
  • You are fluent in French and English; proficiency in German is considered an advantage.
  • You possess a valid work permit for Switzerland or you are an EU national and willing to relocate to Zurich.
