We are looking for dedicated and skilled individuals to join our shop floor across several areas in our department Piece Part Repair at Zurich Airport. If this sounds appealing to you, we encourage you to apply for our Robotic Welding Operator position.
As a Robotic Welding Operator you will:- Operate and monitor robotic welding systems for repair and manufacturing of aviation components.
- Perform welding tasks according to approved repair data, work instructions and technical drawings.
- Ensure full compliance with aviation quality, safety and documentation requirements.
- Set up and adjust fixtures, tools and programmes for different component types.
- Identify process deviations early, perform basic troubleshooting and elevate issues when needed.
- Contribute to continuous improvement activities (e.g., reducing re‑work and scrap, supporting lean and 5S initiatives).
- Completed vocational training in welding, metalworking, mechanics or mechatronics.
- Experience with robotic or automated welding processes.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and manuals.
- Strong focus on quality, safety and compliance.
- Ideally experience in aviation, MRO or other regulated manufacturing environments.
- Familiarity with industrial robots is an advantage.
- Structured, detail‑oriented working style with good teamwork and communication skills.
- English skills at B1 level required;
German is a plus.
