Behind this opportunity, a recognized Swiss manufacturer of CNC machine tools is looking for a Field Service Technician – CNC Machines (H/F) to strengthen its after-sales service team and support customers with the installation, maintenance, and optimization of their production equipment.
YourMain Responsibilities:
- Install, commission, and configure CNC machine tools at customer sites
- Train customers on machine operation, usage, and maintenance procedures
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance interventions
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and CNC-related issues
- Provide on-site technical support and ensure efficient problem resolution
- Advise customers on improving machine performance and availability
- Write service reports and document completed interventions
- Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, production, technical support) to continuously improve solutions and customer satisfaction
You are passionate about technology and enjoy working directly with customers. You are autonomous, solution-oriented, and motivated by technical challenges involving high-precision industrial equipment.
- Proven experience in maintenance CNC machine required
- Experience in equipment installation, commissioning, or maintenance
- Strong troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skills
Skills:
- Good knowledge of industrial mechanics and/or automation
- Understanding of CNC systems and machine tools
- Ability to read technical drawings and electrical/mechanical schematics
- Good level of German required (customers mainly located in German-speaking Switzerland)
- French and/or English is an advantage
- A stable position within a recognized Swiss machine tool manufacturer
