Location: Zürich
ETH Zurich invites applications for a doctoral position in the mechanics of frictional particle suspensions. The project combines physics-based modeling, simulation, theory, and quantitative comparison with experiments in collaboration with the ETH Department of Materials.
You will study how sliding and rolling friction shape rheology across scales, connect particle-scale mechanics to macroscopic response, and verify results using collaborator datasets in a dynamic, interdisciplinary team.
