Assistant Manager

For our Massimo Dutti store in Zurich, we are looking for an Assistant Store Manager who will support the Store Manager in driving performance, leading the team, and ensuring operational excellence.

As a key member of the management team, you will contribute to the continued growth and success of the store by strengthening commercial performance, elevating customer experience, and developing team talent in line with Massimo Dutti’s premium positioning.

• Support the Department Manager & Store Manager in leading and developing a high-performing team
• Ensure daily coaching and active presence on the shop floor
• Monitor individual performance and provide regular feedback
• Contribute to talent identification and internal development
• Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence

• Drive the achievement of key KPIs (sales, conversion rate, average basket, productivity, etc.)
• Analyze business results and implement action plans to improve performance
• Optimize product availability, stock management, and replenishment
• Lead by example in delivering strong sales results

• Guarantee a premium customer experience aligned with the Massimo Dutti identity
• Ensure Visual Merchandising standards are implemented and maintained
• Monitor store layout, product presentation, and overall image
• Act as a brand ambassador within the Zurich market

• Ensure smooth daily operations and compliance with Swiss regulations
• Support workforce planning and organization of schedules
• Monitor procedures related to cash management, stock control, and security
• Contribute to cost control and operational efficiency

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a retail supervisory or management role (fashion / premium sector preferred)
• Strong commercial mindset with good analytical skills
• Hands-on leadership style with strong presence on the sales floor
• High level of service orientation and attention to detail
• Fluent German required
• Professional level of English required
