Chanel Switzerland is currently looking for an enthusiastic and self‑driven Fashion and Watch & Jewelry Flagship Director to lead an energetic and passionate team of around 50 people.
Zurich XL Flagship is soon to open, composed of “Chanel & Moi”, the first atelier program to be implemented in Europe.
AboutThe Role
The Zurich Fashion & Watch & Jewelry Flagship Director will be the ultimate leader and brand ambassador of the Boutique and “CHANEL&moi les Ateliers”. You will build and develop the team and ensure the boutique reaches or exceeds the defined performance targets, in both Fashion and Watch & Jewelry. Your focus will be on establishing a world‑class service and selling culture and ensuring high standards of client experience.
You will be a proactive and proven leader, inspiring the team and clients on the shop floor and ensuring that key areas—buying, sales development, operations, after‑sales, learning, visual merchandising, client experience and engagement—are perfectly driven.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and achieve business goals, partnering with the Front of House and Heart of House teams to devise creative and strategic solutions to increase sales.
- Act as a leader of leaders (minimum 6 direct reports), actively develop boutique leadership and empower the team to manage their own direct reports and assigned business responsibilities.
- Foster a positive working environment, share purpose and create a culture of feedback, encouraging diversity, mutual respect and teamwork.
- Lead the team with agility and resilience, seeking continuous improvement based on key performance indicators and lessons learned, in collaboration with Local and Regional teams in Geneva.
- Capture the essence of each collection and infuse it into the boutique buying.
- Ensure the boutique assortment is consistent with the boutique's buying strategy and in line with open‑to‑buy budget and global/regional guidelines.
- Implement and ensure respect of image and visual merchandising guidelines.
- Lead by example on the selling floor, demonstrating state‑of‑the‑art client engagement and selling ceremony.
- Coach and inspire boutique staff to deliver an elevated client experience to all clients.
- Develop and execute a client‑centric culture among the boutique team, emphasizing client engagement and building client loyalty (including through the “CHANEL&moi” promise and Global After‑sales service).

- At least 10 years of documented experience in sales management
- Minimum 5 years of shop floor experience within the luxury industry
- Strong people manager who is engaging, communicative, performance‑minded and decisive, striving for continuous improvement; combines empathy, social mobility with a strong focus on achieving results.
- Self‑driven, positive and independent person
- Trustworthy with a high degree of integrity and ethics
- Fluent in English; ideally master German – French would be a plus
